**Updated 9:15 p.m. March 13

Local law enforcement officers will once again serve lunch April 7 for Special Olympics for the annual Guardians of the Flame Lunch fundraiser at Texas Roadhouse.

Diners will receive a free lunch of pulled pork sandwiches, fries, applesauce and a soda, and should leave a (very generous) tip to benefit Special Olympics of Southeast Wisconsin.

Lunch will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Texas Roadhouse, 6228 Durand Avenue.

But, if supporters can’t make it to the restaurant, they can always have their lunch delivered. Tips are encouraged, especially for delivery, to benefit the 1,500 Special Olympics athletes in Southeast Wisconsin. The (attached) form must be returned by 5 p.m. April 4 to have lunch delivered.

Delivery is only available in the greater Racine area.

Our community raised $4,300 last year. Let’s top that this year!
