Fans of Scores Sports Bar & Grill will get to enjoy their wings, beer specials and Packers games in new digs opening soon.
The new address – 4915 Washington Avenue – is in the space where Perkins Restaurant was located in the Westgate Square, according to a story in The Journal Times.
Scores has been based in Mount Pleasant for the last 10 years, but owners Rich and Kara Shawhan told the newspaper rising rent and the end of their lease prompted them to look for a new address.
The space itself is a little smaller than it’s former corner home, but Rich said it’s more visible to passing traffic.
“We’ll be a lot more visible. … If you’re from out of town, you don’t stop (at the original location,” he is quoted as saying. “And there are more businesses around there that will draw more business (to Scores).”
