UPDATE: The man killed in a car crash Tuesday has been identified as Robert Skeans, 78, of Yorkville.

He died after he was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 7:26 a.m. Tuesday on County Highway A at 55th Drive, according to officials with the Racine County Sheriff’s Department.

All three people involved in the crash  — the passenger and driver in a Toyota Yaris, and the driver of a Ford F-150 pick-up truck — were taken to Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare — All Saints to be treated for their injuries.

The 72-year-old man, who was a passenger in the Toyota, died while being treated in the hospital.

The man’s identity is not being released until notification of his immediate family. The crash is still under investigation.  However, drugs, alcohol and speed do not appear to be a factor in the crash.

Editor’s note: This version of the story corrects Skeans’ age as 78.
