Two Racine-area residents are celebrating big wins Thursday.
A $1 million Powerball ticket and a winning Badger 5 ticket were sold at two different city gas stations, just a few blocks apart, according to the Wisconsin Lottery website.
The big winner was picked up at the BP/Durand Avenue Mart, 3900 Durand Avenue, on the corner of Durand and Lathrop Avenues, and the Badger 5 winner was issued at Lieungh’s on Lathrop, 1933 Lathrop Avenue.
A total of $66,000 was the jackpot for Badger 5.
Winners have 180 days to claim their prizes either in person or by mail at the Lottery’s Madison or Milwaukee offices.
