One person was injured in a two-car crash that happened at 8:30 a.m. Friday, May 22 in the 3500 block of Douglas Avenue, according to a press release by the Racine Police Department.

One of the female drivers was taken to Wheaton Franciscan-All Saints Hospital where she is being treated for injuries.

No information was given on what caused the crash, the names or ages of those involved, or whether there were citations given.

Racine Police are still investigating the crash. Wisconsin State Patrol is assisting the Racine Police Traffic Bureau in the investigation. We’ll update the story when we get more information.
