ORIGINAL STORY: Two brothers from Milwaukee suffered non-life threatening injuries in a hit and run crash that happened at about 5:30 p.m. Saturday on Interstate 94 at Highway 11.

Investigators with the Racine County Sheriff’s Department are searching for a suspect in the hit-and-run car crash after the driver left the scene, according to a press release by the Racine County Sheriff’s Department.

The car that was struck was found in a ditch along I-94 near the East Frontage Road. Rescue workers took the brothers by ambulance to Ascension – All Saints Hospital.

The brothers had been traveling northbound on I-94 when they started to have car trouble and pulled off to the side of the road to fix the issue. With their hazard lights on, a second car struck the vehicle. The driver of the second vehicle fled the scene and investigators have not been able to find it.

The second vehicle is described a dark-colored Pontiac, possibly a Grand Prix or Grand Am. It has significant front-end damage and a missing wheel on the passenger side.
