Two people were injured following a two-vehicle crash on Douglas Avenue at Six Mile Road on Monday afternoon. LT. Tom Ohl, of the Caledonia Fire Department, said the crash involved a car and an SUV. The time of the call was about 12:30 p.m. “The one patient we took first… she was hurt pretty bad,” Ohol said. The second person, the person driving the SUV, was out walking around, but was taken to the hospital in another rescue squad. Both vehicles did not have other passengers in their vehicles. The car had heavy damage. Both were taken to Wheaton Franciscan Healthcare — All Saints. We’ll have more information on this crash Tuesday.
