The person who shot a woman shot multiple times this week is still at large, and Racine police are asking for the public’s help finding them.
Early Tuesday morning, a 55-year-old woman was shot while sitting in her car by an unknown assailant who was waiting for her in the back seat of her vehicle. Racine police say the woman at first thought she’d been assaulted, but it was determined at the hospital that she’d been shot more than once.
On Thursday, RPD updated the woman’s condition, saying she’d been released from the hospital after being treated for her wounds.
