Caledonia residents won’t have much of a choice when they head to the polls this spring to elect the next members of the Caledonia Village Board and the Caledonia municipal judge position.

With three sd59c212863064c9e3cc164b2f0f6b05beats up for grabs, there are only three candidates seeking election. Two are incumbents — Kathy Trentadue and Lee Wishau — and one is political newcomer — Eddie Willing.

Candidates had until 5 p.m. Tuesday to turn in their petitions.

Willing, who lives at 5174 Winstar Lane, owns his own business, which does marketing and sales team training. He’s divorced and has a six-year-old son named Riley. They’ve been living in Caledonia for six years. He currently serves on the Caledonia Parks and Recreation Committee.

Trentadue was elected in 2012, and Wishau was elected to the board in 2006. Caledonia Village Trustee Tom Weatherston will not be seeking re-election for his seat on the village board this spring.

Municipal judge David Paulson is also running unopposed.
