2012-2013 Case Boys Basketball Team

Big ups to the boys basketball teams at Case, Horlick and Park for winning their respective games against tough teams Friday.

The Case Eagles came out on top of the Oak Creek Knights with a final score of 57-23, according to a story in The Journal Times.

Case’s defense held the Knights scoreless in the first half, the newspaper reported.

The final score of the Horlick Rebels game against Indian Trail Hawks was closer; 63-56 at the final buzzer after being tied 41-all after the third quarter, The Journal Times story reads.

Horlick coach Jason Treutelaar credits his team’s free throw shooting as the primary reason the Rebels came out on top.

Park’s Panthers had the closest score: 66 to 61 over Franklin’s Sabers at Franklin.

The Journal Times story notes that Park’s 13, 3-point shots – seven of them by junior guard Jeremy Steward – is what sealed the game for the Panthers.
