The suspect police say killed a 21-year-old Kenosha man over the weekend has been arrested.

Christopher Scott Brown, 23, of Racine, was taken into custody while he was at work Monday afternoon, according to a press release from the Racine Police Department. He was booked into the Racine County Jail on a single charge of 1st degree reckless homicide and two charges of 1st degree recklessly endangering safety.

Brown is accused of shooting Dulonden Ratliff early Saturday morning in front of a downtown bar in the 300 block of Main Street. When police arrived, they found Ratliff bleeding from a gunshot wound. He was transported to Wheaton Franciscan St. Mary’s for treatment, but he was pronounced dead.

Ratliff’s name was not immediately released so police could notify family.

A website was established Monday afternoon to help raise money for Ratliff’s funeral expenses.

Racine police are still interested in speaking with anyone who has information about this incident.
