The Racine Public Library is asking residents to weigh in on whether or not a second library building is needed and how citizens use the current library.

A steering committee funded by the library is studying the feasibility of a new library that would be located outside the city, possibly in Mount Pleasant just north of the intersection of Spring Street and Newman Road. The new facility would cost millions to build and maintain and area communities would be asked to pay those costs.

Everyone who participates in the survey will be eligible to win a $50 gift card from Barnes & Noble.

The survey can be found here until June 1: https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/W8MHKD5.
