Racine police say they arrested a 27-year-old Racine man after he allegedly robbed Blues and R&B tavern Thursday night.
According to a press release from the department, a single gunman entered the bar, 1102 Mound Avenue, at 11 p.m. Thursdays armed with a handgun. He demanded money and fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.
A few hours later, a suspect was identified in the vicinity of the establishment and was taken into custody. Police do not believe this incident is related to any of the recent armed robberies for which there is now up to $6,500 in reward money available.
This matter remains under investigation, and police are not releasing any additional information at this time.
