304e1215839087cdeb7566c84572149aOver 3,000 participants will endure the Ironman 70.3 Racine Triathlon from 7:30 to 10 a.m. July 20.
The bike portion of the triathlon will pass through the Village of Wind Point on N. Main St. and will cause delays for vehicles entering and leaving the Village. The heaviest bike traffic is expected to occur between 7:30 to 10 a.m. Emergency response vehicles will be given priority to enter and leave the Village during the race.
The run portion of the event heads east on 3 Mile Rd., north on Lighthouse Dr., turns around at Shoop Park and heads back the same way toward Racine. The northbound lane will be closed for the runners and the southbound lane will remain open to traffic.
