Mound Cemetery superintendent Steve Bedard talks about the history behind the cemetery. Scientist and surveyor Increase Lapham and Dr. Philo Hoy mapped out the area back when it was still a territory. The cemetery originally had 138 burial mounds, but only 12 survived, Bedard said.
