b5ad6819c2a833f25b317a4d08514b43Caledonia resident Bill Pringle, who lives a few miles away from the We Energies power plant in Oak Creek, says  his family has been experiencing health issues because of all of the coal dust in the air, according to a story by the Racine Journal Times.

Officials with We Energies said the tests they have done are not showing that coal is present in his home, but Pringle said he’s had tests done that show there is coal dust in his home and letters from doctors saying that his family’s health issues could have been “exacerbated” by it.

The family is in the process of filing a lawsuit against We Energies over the matter.
