Check out the supermoon on Sunday as the moon will be 14 percent bigger, and 30 percent brighter than other full moons in 2013, according to NASA.
This is the second of three supermoon that have occurred, the first was on July 12. The next one will happen on Sept. 9.
“The supermoon occurs when the moon becomes full on the same days as its perigee, which is the point in the moon’s orbit when it is closest to Earth,” according to CNN.
