But Jararmillo’s other brothers — Frank and Jason — will also be involved with the club.

Over the years, all three brothers have played on the Brewers, Mets, Mariners, Astros, A’s, Phillies, Rangers and Pirates organizations. This isn’t the only endeavor the brothers, who grew up in Caledonia, have done together. They designed the Forceout Glove last year and this summer they hosted a three-day baseball fundamentals camp in August, which got Lee thinking about the need for the traveling team.

“The summer camp turned out pretty well, but it got me thinking that a lot of kids coming out of Racine are coming from city leagues, but there aren’t a lot of higher levels than that and they are sort of capped out,” Lee said. “There’s a a lot of talent not being showcased in southeast WIsconsin and it feels like Racine is getting left behind.”

So Lee started the youth baseball club and it’s turning out pretty well, he said.

The U-11 baseball team held tryouts and is already full, but the U-10 league still has a few openings. The league starts in 2015. Lee will be coaching the U-11 baseball team and his brother Frank will coach the U-10 league. However, Lee also hopes to expand into different age groups. Jason is also expected to get involved as well.

“We need to take this slow though,” Lee said. “It’s a lot like the camp. We want to put quality into this.”

The league plans to have its home field at the Caledonia-Mount Pleasant Memorial Park in Franksville and he expects to host a baseball tournament there as well.

If you are interested in having your child play on the team, Lee can be reached at (262) 308-4925

“We’re trying to bring a lot back to the Racine-area,” Lee said. “We’re hoping it will be a good feeder program for the community of Racine.”
