By all accounts, Battle of the Badges was a rousing success. Hundreds of people attended this first of what organizers hope to be an annual event and raised thousands of dollars for autism awareness.
More than 500 tickets to the Battle were sold in advance, hundreds of items were donated for both the bucket raffle and silent auction and the community came through in a big way. While exact totals were not available the morning after, it’s a fair bet that Battle of the Badges raised thousands of dollars for autism.
