The Women’s Resource Center of Racine plans to hold a candlelight vigil at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21 to remember a woman killed in Mount Pleasant Wednesday by her estranged husband in the parking lot at a Super 8 Motel, 1150 Oakes Rd.
The woman, 36, and her husband, 38, had only been married for a few months when she filed a restraining order against him and found refuge at a friend’s home in 600 block of Calvin Lane. Relich said the woman had been staying there for a few weeks before her estranged husband found her and attacked her with a small hatchet, killing her.
Women’s Resource Center will hold a candle light vigil on Friday, November 21 in honor of the woman whose life was lost in a domestic homicide on Wednesday, November 19 at the Super 8 Motel in Mt. Pleasant, Wi.
