Sometimes Christmas brings us playful moments, sometimes meaningful ones and here’s what a few of you shared on social media.
My 4.5 yr old twins came to me last night wanting to give another child some of their toys. Theyare used but free to a child who might enjoy them. A large fire truck. A medium size excavator. 3 small monster trucks. And 3 or 4 beanie bears.

An ability to bring families closer together. An ability to make people think deeper and try to understand puzzling things. An ability to school society on the fact humans are not all the same and we all view the world differently. An ability to lead by example: simply, be picky and ignore public opinion. An ability to teach us patience is what will continue to get us through day to day life. An ability to show us it’s the little victories that matter, we’re all busy looking towards the finish line when we need to stop to appreciate the good in moments.

But most importantly an ability to prove you don’t need words to covey love and affection. Autism isn’t a disorder, autism is a gift shared by individuals to their family, friends and the world to make it a better, more accepting place.
