Over $40 million in property transfers were recorded in Racine County between Jan. 5 through Jan. 9, according to Racine County.
Two commercial properties — Walgreens Pharmacy, 1920 Douglas Ave., and Sealed Air, 8310 Sixteenth St., in Mount Pleasant — changed hands.
Here are the highlights:
- Ill.-based Walgreen Co. transferred the Walgreens Pharmacy, 1920 Douglas Ave., into a WG DST 3, a trust set up in New Hampshire.
- Sealed Air Corp., 8310 Sixteenth St., sold its 280,000 square foot office building back to SC Johnson Co. for $27.6 million.
- Former White Castle Restaurant, 5500 Durand Ave., sold its restaurant to Glendale-based Broderson Acquisitions LLC for $500,000.
