Crime Stoppers of Racine County

Racine police are asking for the public’s help locating two men who robbed the Midtown Market on 11th Street last week.

Officers were called to the market, 1229 11th Street, at 8:48 p.m. for a report of an armed robbery. Witnesses told them two armed men wearing masks entered the store and demanded money. One stood near the door with a long gun while the other approached the clerk with his weapon drawn and demanded money.

Both suspects fled in an unknown direction with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was hurt during the incident.

The suspect who held the long gun is described as:

  • Black male
  • Approximately 18 to 20 years old
  • 5’7 – 5’8 tall with an average build
  • Wearing a dark jacket and black mask, armed with a long gun, possibly a rifle.

The second suspect is described as:

  • Black male
  • Approximately 6′ tall
  • Wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt, black mask, armed with a dark colored pistol.
