The Caledonia Parks and Recreation Department held its first fund-raiser Sunday, Feb. 8 at The Lanes in Mount Pleasant.
The nine-pin tap bowling tournament featured a raffle, door prizes and a blind auction. The commission plans to add shelters, playground and fitness equipment; upgrade the baseball/softball diamonds, and develop recreational, sports and summer programming.
