Temperatures will plummet starting Tuesday, Feb. 17, and Wednesday, Feb. 18 is expected to be a “blustery” day in the Racine-area with wind chill temperatures expected to be as low as -25 during the evening hours, according to the National Weather Service.
The WISN 12 Weather forecast indicates that winds Tuesday night will be between 12 to 22 mph, which will push wind chill temperatures to -10 to -20.
No word yet from staff at the Racine Unified School District on whether the sub-zero temperatures will force them to cancel class Wednesday, but we’ll keep you posted.
