CindyWashington Park High School English teacher Cindy Kaebisch, 45, died at Wheaton Franciscan All Saints Medical Center on Wednesday, April 8 after battling cancer.

Kaebisch, who loved the Packers, theater, movies, and books, had taught at Park since 2000, according to her obituary.

Her funeral was held Sunday, April 12.

Hillary Tabbert: “You always have and will have special place in my heart you were my very first english teacher in highschool and my very first friend also. Best wishes to your family, also to the family if u need to talk I am here I have recently lost my father and grandma. So I know the pain you are feeling. Heather Asiyanbi: “Ms. Kaebisch was a wonderful teacher who really treasured her relationships with her students and was always willing to help kids succeed. We had two kids go through her freshman English class, and even after they graduated, she never failed to ask about them when we saw her around town. We are so sorry for her families, both at home and at Park.”
