Racine police are investigating the attempted homicide of two victims early Sunday morning.

According to a press release from RAPD Lt. Al Days, officers were called ata 6:01 a.m. Sunday to the 800 block of Jackson Street for a cutting incident.

When police arrived, they found two victims – a male and a female – who had serious injuries. Both parties were taken to Wheaton Franciscan St. Mary’s for treatment.

“The female is being treated of potentially life-threatening injures,” the statement reads.

This incident remains under investigation and no further information is being released at this time.
