Friends and neighbors of Roger Higgenbottom are invited to a celebration of his life Saturday at the Hiawatha Grill in Sturtevant.
Organized by Roger’s wife, Diana, before Roger passed away last month, “Celebrating WITH Roger” is about commemorating the joy with which Roger lived his life, and proceeds will help pay off Roger’s medical bills and support some of Roger’s favorite charities.
Admission to the celebration is $10 and includes food and live music by The Collection, The Emmaus Road Band, Fall Hazard, and DJ music from Big Ron Productions. There will be a 50/50 raffle, silent auction and
basket raffles. Bracelets and t-shirts will be available for purchase as well.
A beautiful day is forecast.
“It’s obvious to me that Roger has already made an ‘in’ with Mother Nature!!! But of course …” Diana posted on the event Facebook page.
The fun runs from 3 to 11 p.m. at the Hiawatha, 9809 Durand Avenue.
