womanMount Pleasant Police are asking for help in identifying a suspect that has been linked to identity thefts in Wisconsin, Illinois, Missouri, and Michigan from 2008 through 2014, according to a press release by the Mount Pleasant Police Department.

A Mount Pleasant woman reported that her car was broken into and her wallet was stolen while her car was parked at Meadowbrook Country Club, 2149 N. Green Bay Road. woman2Investigators learned that the suspect withdrew several thousand dollars from the woman’s bank account.

The suspect is described as a white female, 40- to 50-years-old, having brown hair with blond streaks, 165 to 185 pounds and being five-foot four-inches to five-foot six-inches tall. She was last seen wearing glasses and a wedding band.

The suspect also used the woman’s stolen credit cards to make large purchases.

Investigators have also linked the suspect to many other vehicle break-ins and identity theft cases in Wisconsin, Illinois, Missouri, and Michigan from 2008 through 2014. They also have learned that the suspect sometimes buys hair dyes and other cosmetics to match the victim’s appearance before the bank withdrawal.
