The students at Mitchell School have fully returned to normal routines after the devastating fire in February 2014 that destroyed their gym and displaced the elementary school, but their playground could use a major overhaul.

To make their dream a reality, the Mitchell family needs to raise $7,500, and they’re hoping community members will help them get there by buying personalized bricks for $50 each that will pave the pathway between the existing playground and the new equipment.

Students have to raise the money to meet July deadlines. The $7,500 will be added to the $15,000 Let’s Play grant awarded last fall, and the $9,000 children raised through a variety of other efforts.
