Keep an eye for runners as the Ragnar Relay is coming through Kenosha, Racine and Caledonia Friday, June 12 and into Saturday, June 13.
The 196.2 mile relay race starts in Madison and ends in Chicago. Runners will be coming through Caledonia between 11 p.m. and 3 a.m.
Part of the route includes County Line Road, Oak Leaf Trail, 7 Mile Road, Botting Road, 6 Mile Road, Michna Road and ends at an exchange at Cliffside Park.
Runners will then proceed to Lakeshore Drive, Six Mile Road, Novak Road, 5 1/2 Mile Road, Charles St., 4 Mile Road, Main Street and 3 Mile Road where they will meet at the Prairie School. They will take the route back to Lake Michigan Pathway, then take Michigan Boulevard, Dodge St, Main Street, 16th St. Wisconsin Avenue, 21st St., Roosevelt Park Drive, Racine St., Durand Avenue, and take the MRK (Bike) Trail at West Boulevard where they’ll meet up at Dr. Jones Elementary School, 3300 Chicory Rd.
Runners will then continue on the MRK Trail until Birch Road and onto Sheridan Road.
