Six people were injured after a vehicle crashed into a tree at 2:29 a.m. Saturday, June 20  in the 3700 block of North Main St., according to a press release by the Racine Police Department.

The car, which was traveling northbound on North Main St., lost control, left the roadway, and struck the tree.

Two of the passengers were taken to Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee by Flight for Life. Officers with the Racine Police Department’s traffic unit, major crimes/incident evidence technicians and Wisconsin State Highway Patrol were still on scene at 7:38 a.m.

Racine Police traffic investigators are interested in any more information that anyone may have about this incident. Any witnesses, or citizens with information, are urged to call the Racine Police Department Traffic Investigation Unit at (262) 635-7816.
