Property transfers in Racine County increased 75 percent over the past year, according to Racine County Property Transfer records
Between Aug. 17 and Aug. 21, 77 properties worth nearly $18 million changed hands. Between Aug. 18 and Aug. 22 last year, 44 properties valued at about $5.5 million changed hands.
Three of the properties were commercial buildings.
Floortech, 10180 Washington Ave., sold to Wheaton Franciscan for $1.85 million. Floortech relocated their business to 9950 Durand Ave., in Sturtevant.
Highland Park IL-based SG Investor Group LLC, which owns Ace Express Cash, 3000 Douglas Ave, sold for $100,00 to Dearborn Heights Michigan-based 1163 Southfield LLC.
Burlington Rehab and Care Center, 677 E.State St., in Burlington sold for $3.29 million.
Of the 77 sales last week, 21 were in the City of Racine, where prices ranged from $20,000 to $108,900. In Caledonia there were 12 property sales, and the average price was $189,525. At about the same time last year, Caledonia saw five property sales with an average price was $133,200.
