About $3,000 in equipment was taken from a job site between 3:30 and 4 p.m. Monday in the 5000 block of Six Mile Road, said Natalie Gautsch-Noonan, co-owner of B&G Asphalt Sealcoating.

Two blowers,  a white and red Little Wonder brand and an orange and black Billy Goat brand, and two steel brooms were taken while the workers were working on a job that had a long driveway.

“The workers were up near the house finishing the job, then they went to get the blowers and discovered that they were gone,” said Gautsch-Noonan.

One blower weighed about 250 pounds and the other weighed about 150 pounds. Both have Honda engines. Gautsch-Noonan suspects that more than one person likely loaded the blowers onto a truck or a trailer.

“If someone was driving past, it would have been noticeable because they would have had to have gone around the trucks to get them,” she said.
