The day you’ve all been asking about arrives Sept. 29: O&H Bakery‘s new store on Washington Avenue officially opens for business.
Bakery employees attending Mount Pleasant Day Saturday handed out seasonal flavored donut holes (full disclosure: they were delicious) and confirmed that the subtle note on blue paper was correct.
“Yes, we open Sept. 29,” one of staffers said. “We’ve had to answer that question a lot.”
Bakery production got underway this summer, and company representatives went on a hiring spree earlier this month.
“We look forward to servicing our customers at another O&H Danish Bakery retail location,” said O&H owner Peter Olesen.
The store hours are: 5:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, 5:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday,and 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday. The store hours at the other four stores remain unchanged as well.
