Crime Stoppers of Racine County is celebrating its 25th anniversary by hosting a block party and everyone is invited.
From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 11, Crime Stoppers is hosting a party in the 2200 block of Mead Street for the entire community to mark a quarter century of working together to make our neighborhoods safer.
In addition to serving a picnic lunch, the block party will feature children’s games, visits from local law enforcement agencies, fire apparatus from South Shore Fire Department, and the Packers game (vs St. Louis) will be playing as well. During half-time, Crime Stoppers will honor past board presidents and coordinators.
The playground across the street will be ready for laughter and fun, and tours of the Mount Pleasant Police Department’s first COP house will also be part of the afternoon.
Free parking will be available in both the Wells Brothers lots and at Racine Montessori, 2317 Howe Street.
This party is Crime Stoppers’ way of saying THANK YOU to everyone for their continued support. Here’s to 25 more years to working together!
