The success of O&H Bakery rests on the shoulders of the community and its dedicated employees, some of whom have worked there since high school.
Opening day for the new O&H Bakery at 5910 Washington Avenue doesn’t arrive until 5:30 a.m. Tuesday, but the official ribbon cutting was held Thursday. Company President Eric Olesen during his remarks thanked the greater Racine community – and the city in particular – for supporting his family’s business.
“We would not be here without the support of the city and the people who choose to shop here,” he said during a speech that turned emotional at times. “Your support has allowed us to grow and stay in the community. Our customers are who it’s all about.”
The new store opens at 5:30 a.m. Tuesday, and store hours will be 5:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, 5:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday,and 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday.
