Congratulations to the five girls Racine Unified swimmers and divers headed to the state meet this weekend after qualifying at the Greenfield Sectional last week.

Four of the girls are from Case: Tatum Thompkins, junior, diving; McKenzie Sanches, freshman, diving; Emily Bollendorf, junior, 50-yard freestyle, 100-yard butterfly; and Meredith Freidheim, 100-yard breaststroke. Sinclair Richards, senior, 50-yard freestyle, from Horlick rounds out the group.

The state swim and dive competition is being held Satureday at the University of Wisconsin Natatorium on the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus. Diving is up first at 10 a.m. followed by the swimming competition at 3 p.m.
