Angela JacksonDarrell BostwickCaledonia Police on Friday arrested two people in connection with what they believe was a large-scale mail-order marijuana operation.


Darrell J. Bostwick, 28, and Angela Jackson, 31 , are each charged with possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, on or near a park, maintaining a drug trafficking place, possession of narcotic drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia. If convicted, they could be sent to prison.

According to the criminal complaints filed against them Tuesday in Racine County Circuit Court, someone told police that Bostwick bought large quantities of marijuana over the internet, and then sold it.

Police on Friday went through garbage bags at the end of the driveway and found a small amount of marijuana, a marijuana cigarette, shipping tracking numbers and a list of people and marijuana quantities. They searched the home later that day, when Jackson and Bostwick were not home.

Inside, the complaint states, they found:

  • tools to process drugs, including a a stainless steel grinder, digital scales, a vacuum sealer, and rolls of plastic vacuum bags and packages of smaller plastic bags;
  • drugs and drug paraphernalia, including marijuana scattered on tables, oxycodone pills, and paraphernalia used to crush and snort the pills, glass pipes and bongs;
  • a ledger of money owed and $2,902 in cash;
  • bags containing larger amounts of marijuana, weighing 332.3 grams (about three-quarters of a pound) in total;
  • three firearms, ammunition and a stun gun.

Jackson was arrested about 6:20 p.m. Friday, as she came home for the night. Officers found a handgun in her glove box, but she had a valid concealed carry permit.

Bostwick was arrested at 8:12 p.m., at On the Border, where he works.
