Mount Pleasant police say a Racine woman is in jail on charges that she made a bomb threat Thursday that turned out to be false.
Officers were called at 10:07 a.m. to Seda North America, Inc., 12501 Washington Avenue, for a report of a bomb threat. When police arrived and searched the building, they didn’t find anything suspicious.
Investigators learned that a 35-year-old woman made the threat, and they arrested her at 5:07 p.m. Thursday at her home.
She remains in the Racine County Jail and is expected to face a felony charge of making a bomb scare.
