Racine police say a 27-year-old man is facing felony sexual assault charges after raping a friend who gave him a place to live because he was homeless.

Allen Judon, of Racine, was charged Friday in Racine County Circuit Court with one count of second degree Allen Judonsexual assault of an unconscious victim. If convicted, he faces up to 40 years in prison and/or up to $100,000 in fines. Because he is considered a repeat offender, he could get extra time added to any sentence he might receive.

According to the criminal complaint, officers responded at 5:17 a.m. Thursday to a residence for a report of a sexual assault. When police arrived, a woman told them she’d been raped by Judon while she was asleep. Judon is a friend of the woman and another man was allowed to stay with┬áthem because he was homeless.

Police say the woman showed them multiple text messages in which Judon asks the woman to have sex with him, and she repeatedly refuses. The assault took place after the couple and Judon were sitting in the living room watching TV, and the woman took a Xanax for which she has a prescription. The man carried the woman to the room they share and put her to bed before leaving for work.

The woman said she woke up lying on her stomach and Judon raping her, the complaint reads. She was able to escape and called the man at work, and he advised her to call 911 immediately. Judon told police the sex was consensual.

Judon remains in the Racine County Jail on a $25,000 cash bond and was ordered to provide a DNA sample. He will next be in court Dec. 23 for his preliminary hearing.
