Some neighbors came out in support of and others opposed Cindy Pradarelli’s decision to have 11 hens on her property in the Kremer subdivision.
Caledonia doesn’t allow chickens on residential properties that are less than five acres and aren’t zoned for agriculture. But Pradarelli has since collected 440 signatures on a petition asking the village to change its ordinance.
After a number of people spoke for and against the issue, village president Bob Bradley told the group that the board would not be able to take action on the issue.
