The 26-year-old Milwaukee man accused of shipping pot from Colorado to the post office in Caledonia will be sentenced next spring.

Daniel Goldberg was charged last summer with one felony count of marijuana possession with the intent to deliver after police say he had six bags of marijuana totaling 271 grams shipped to his attention from Colorado. He is facing up to six years in prison and/or up to $10,000 in fines.

Online court records indicate conditions of Goldberg’s $2,000 signature bond included him submitting to both random drug tests as well as tests after each court date and that he not possess any weapons. Incident reports from ZCI – the monitoring firm with which the court has contracted – were filed on three different dates, and his bond was modified Dec. 18 to include him attending five self-help meetings per week.

Court records also seem to indicate that Goldberg will change his plea to guilty and he will be sentenced at 1:30 p.m. March 7 before Racine County Circuit Court Judge Michael Piontek.
