Nickendrick JacksonUPDATE: Nickendrick L. Jackson, 26, of Racine,was arrested following an armed robbery that happened Saturday night at Your Mini Sweet Shop, 1132 S. Memorial Dr., was arrested by the Racine Police Department.

Jackson has not officially been charged, but arrest record show that he is facing an armed robbery charge.

ORIGINAL STORY: Racine Police are searching a suspect in an armed robbery that happened at 8:07 p.m. Saturday at Your Mini Sweet Shop, 1132 S. Memorial Dr.

A clerk at the store told police that an unknown person came into the store, pointed a handgun at him and demanded cash from the register. After the clerk gave the person the cash, the suspect fled the area.

No description of the suspect was given in the press release. Investigators are talking with neighbors in the area and following up on leads.
