Voters who need to cast their ballot early for the Feb. 16 primary election can do so starting Monday as long as they have a photo ID when they visit their municipal clerk’s office.

Early voting is available during normal business hours at local clerk offices Monday through Friday. Residents should contact their municipal clerk for hours of operation. Early voting ends Feb. 12.

Racine County Eye voters will narrow the field down to the top two vote-getters in several races, including three Racine Common Council seats, two Mount Pleasant trustee races, and two Racine Unified seats.

To help voters decide in Mount Pleasant, Racine County Eye and the Racine Taxpayers Association are teaming up once again to present a candidate forum from 7 to 8 on Feb. 11.

There is also a statewide primary for the state Supreme Court between current Justice Rebecca Bradley and challengers JoAnne Kloppenburg and Joe Donald.

Photo ID is required for this election. The general election is April 5.
