Brian Goode never saw owning a fast-casual restaurant in his future when he embarked on his education career. But, the leadership development for which he has a passion is a core value of Chick-Fil-A and the primary reason he quit his job as an assistant principal and jumped with both feet into learning the business of owning and operating a franchise.

The new Chick-Fil-A, 5201 Washington Avenue, opens sometime in March, and Goode is looking to hire between 80 and 100 workers for a mix of full- and part-time positions. Employees of the restaurant at Regency Mall can apply for a position at the new restaurant, and Goode said he has already hired several individuals already.

Applications are being accepted in the hiring trailer outside the new building from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday thru Friday. Candidates can also visit snagajob.com and type in “Racine Chick-Fil-A” to apply for an opening online.
