Have you ever heard a passerby look at your building and say “What’s behind that door?” or “I wonder what they do there?”

Real Racine is proud to present the inaugural “Open House Racine County” on Saturday, May 21. This event will offer free and rare access to more than 50 sites across the county. Attendees will have an opportunity to learn the stories behind some of Racine County’s best-known businesses, architectural gems and civic buildings.

The objectives for Open House Racine County are simple: 1.) Help enhance local residents’ perceptions of their county; 2.) Showcase the county’s unique assets to visitors, business owners and potential residents.

Each site on the tour will be identified by an external 3-foot by
5-foot banner bearing the event’s logo and website address. Visitors will be greeted by volunteers/representatives from each site. Site owners are encouraged to distribute information about their building, business or organization.

In addition, each site will have a page on the event website (www.OpenHouseRacineCounty.com) including photos, location and a brief description. Attendees can use the website to create a customized itinerary that may be printed or viewed on a mobile device.

Sponsorship opportunities are also available. Tax-deductible donations are welcome!
