A 23-year-old man is behind bars on a $75,000 cash bond after police say a little girl told her mother she was molested by him.
Vincent Judd-Rapp, of Racine, was charged Monday in Racine County Circuit Court with a single felony count of first degree sexual assault of a child under the age of 13. If convicted, he could face up to 60 years in prison.
According to the criminal complaint, a woman called police Saturday after her 7-year-old daughter said that Judd-Rapp touched her and indicated that he digitally raped her while she was at a relative’s house. The woman told officers the little girl reported the incident out of the blue and without any prompting.
Police say when the woman called the relative, that person reported that Judd-Rapp said, “If (the woman) calls and says I did something to her daughter, tell her that I didn’t.” When the relative asked the defendant to explain what he meant, he just said the same thing again.
Judd-Rapp was ordered to surrender a DNA sample as a condition of his arrest and filed complaint. He will next be in court March 2 for his preliminary hearing.
