The official Public Hearing occurred at Mount Pleasant Village Hall on Monday, March 21, 2016 concerning the Sewer and Water project on Highway V. The recording is a couple minutes shy of 2 hours. It is being posted here for archival purposes. Of interest are public comments by a number of citizens as well as the Attorney for the Hwy V group who reminded the Village Board that the Village Board had discretionary powers, provided by Wisconsin State Law, which did not have to end in assignments of assessments to the residents of Highway V. Also, a few board members were shocked at the high dollar level of the assessments. If you have time, it is good listening and instructive.
