Alyssa Anderson Missing May 2016

**Updated 8:30 a.m. May 29

Alyssa Anderson, 15, of Racine, was home early Sunday morning after not being seen or in contact with her family since Friday afternoon.

Her mother, April Otto, asked for the greater Racine community’s help to find her daughter, and around 1 a.m. Sunday posted on Facebook that Anderson was home. Another mom was in contact with Otto about Anderson’s whereabouts based on what that woman’s daughter was reporting, and Anderson was eventually located in the upstairs apartment of an 18-year-old man she met recently.

Anderson was last seen at home Friday morning, and her last conversation with her was around 2 p.m. Friday. Otto said when she got home from work around 4 p.m. Friday, Anderson was gone, but her phone was on her dresser.

Otto said her daughter recently began hanging out with an 18-year-old man Otto said she doesn’t like. She asked him about her daughter’s whereabouts, and he said he saw Anderson earlier in the day Friday, but it now appears Anderson was with him during the hours she was missing.

We will update this story as details become available.
